Description:
A rich and elegant take on one of the more distinctive styles of Japanese wine. The majority of this bottling is Delaware, a grape originally from the United States that has become closely associated with Japanese winemaking. It brings ripe melon, fresh fruit, and lifted aromatics, while a small percentage of Chardonnay adds body and richness.
Bright acidity keeps the wine crisp and mineral, with a fresh, lively finish. A small amount of fresh juice is added at bottling to begin a secondary fermentation, creating a gentle amount of natural carbonation while limiting sediment. The result is a wine that feels fresh and energetic without being overly fizzy. Additive free, No Sulphites, Unfiltered.

Formally established in 2015, Fattoria AL FIORE grows and processes their grapes in the tranquil town of Kawasaki, in Miyagi Prefecture. Positioned below the Zao mountain range, and surrounded by fields, rice paddies, mountains, and lakes. This tight-knight community offers a warm welcome that leaves a mark on all who visit.
The name AL FIORE comes from an Italian restaurant opened in Sendai by the winery’s founder and CEO, Hirotaka Meguro. Meaning "one flower" in Japanese, AL FIORE positions itself with the hope that a single, captivating flower will one day produce seeds, spreading joy like a blossoming field of flowers.
The guiding principles of this winery, are rooted in staying connected to nature, and producing natural wines that work in harmony with their surroundings.
