Description:
Aromatic and complex, but still light and easy to drink. Made from Steuben, a grape developed at Cornell for its resistance to cold and mildew, this red has a bright, perfumed character with notes of rose and strawberry, balanced by a subtle savory edge. Natural acidity keeps the wine fresh, while the palate leans toward red fruit.
After a short maceration, the wine is aged in stainless steel. Like the other two wines in the series, it is unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulphur.

Formally established in 2015, Fattoria AL FIORE grows and processes their grapes in the tranquil town of Kawasaki, in Miyagi Prefecture. Positioned below the Zao mountain range, and surrounded by fields, rice paddies, mountains, and lakes. This tight-knight community offers a warm welcome that leaves a mark on all who visit.
The name AL FIORE comes from an Italian restaurant opened in Sendai by the winery’s founder and CEO, Hirotaka Meguro. Meaning "one flower" in Japanese, AL FIORE positions itself with the hope that a single, captivating flower will one day produce seeds, spreading joy like a blossoming field of flowers.
The guiding principles of this winery, are rooted in staying connected to nature, and producing natural wines that work in harmony with their surroundings.
